seriously, now is the time to get the pollen off of your glass and your frames. The nice yellow tint that everything in Memphis has in the spring might be pretty (if your crazy) but to me it means nasty glass that will not stay clean. Some people advocate waiting to get their windows cleaned. If you are a home owner, that is a good idea. If you are a commercial store front that is the worst idea.
Your windows are a reflection of your store. If the windows look horrible......well, you get the picture. We all remember walking into a waffle house and looking at the maple syrup little kid hand prints on the glass....nasty glass just doesn't encourage me to want to eat at a place. Of course, being in the window cleaning profession I am a bit biased, but I have noticed, from being in the kitchens of many, many restaurants, that the amount of care and attention the place gives to their windows is a very good indicator of how clean things are in the back of the house.
I remember early on in my window cleaning business doing a national chain restaurant (which I will not name here) that would only pay to get their windows cleaned once a month. Granted, they were filthy within three days but cleaning "wasn't in their budget." I remember going back into the kitchen to get some water for my bucket and looking at them prepare food and I realized just how "nasty" it was back there. I never ate there again nor at that particular chain. On the other hand, look at Houston's Restaurant...They windows are touched up daily. The floor is clean enough to eat off of and guess what, they kitchen....spotless. If the windows are clean, you can bet the kitchen is too.
Commercial accounts need their windows cleaned frequently. We do work in other sections of the the state and you would be amazed at how clean the windows are there. Everyone wants them done weekly because they love to be able to see out of their glass.
Home owners just wait until the pollen settles and give us a call. We will try to remove the allergies from your windows. Maybe we can all breath a little bit better after that.

new window cleaning venture
Byrd Window Cleaning is about to begin a new line of services for our customers. Previously, we have not focused on the mid-rise building as of today, that is about to change. We have realized that the 2 to 5 story building has been neglected. There are very few window washing companies that specialize that that area of the business. We want to be your new window washer. We increased our insurance and we are going to begin to actively market your business. SO, if you are looking for your windows to be cleaned and you don't know of a good window washing service, you can just go ahead and stop looking....seriously, stop looking and give us a call at 901-292-3862.

water fed poles
you know, some window washers swear by these things but it just doesn't seem right. You take a long pole and attach a scrubber at the end of it. You feed it with some purified water and scrub the glass. IT is supposed to not leave anything behind but I just don't see that happening. For one, the WFP system is costly so you better have plenty of places to use it on before you go out and invest in something that cost this much. I will have to seem some really, really, really good results before I break down and buy a wfp.

Soaps
there is much said about what types of soaps to use in window cleaning and there is much money poured into telling you that you can't live without this certain type of soap.
Let me set the record straight.
Dawn, Joy, Palmolive, and just about any other soap will work with window cleaning. Don't waste your money on the expensive types. As long as you mop it on the glass and then get it off the glass then you will be just fine and saved yourself a few dollars.
Spring is in the air....well, it was
i was getting excited that spring time arrived early this year. Oh well, it was nice for two days. I guess it shouldn't be much further off now. I am thinking about a nice spring special for residential window cleaning. Something like 10% off or if you recommend us to your friends and they use our services we can give you some free cleanings. Check us out later in the month and we will post something on our website for you to print out and use when you get your windows cleaned.
